It's easy to help, even before coming to Glentui! Donate a tree for the Mahakala Forest and we will use the funds for the construction and land development.
Mahakala Forest will be a combination of hardy and quick growing native trees, slower and more majestic native giants as well as prime exotic timber trees. Altogether they will shelter and protect the retreating yogis - a job for Mahakala indeed.
Plus we will have a little gift for you (we can send it by post):
1 tree ($40) = awesome postcard!
2 or more trees ($80+) = t-shirt and postcard!

For our international friends it is possible to send the Glentui donation to local account in the following countries:
Donate through the New Zealand service for charities using your credit card. This service is safe and tested by our sangha. Use option 1 if you can though, as the "Give a Little" service incurs 5% fee.
Our fundraising target for the first phase (small retreat hut, fence and protector forest) is $10,000 (6,000 EUR). See the construction blog to follow the progress.

Glentui is a retreat centre. The nearest regular meditations are held in Christchurch.
