1. Note from the Editor
First of all, welcome to our new newsletter service. I hope you will find the information digest presented here useful. In case you have any comments please let me know, it's as easy as responding to this e-mail. The message will be private and will be delivered to my, the editor, mailbox only.

2. Monday meditation night in Wellington (14 Dec, 21 Dec, ...)
Wellington sangha will have an additional meditation night on Mondays 8pm. Next week (14 Dec) it will take place at the Yoga Room at Rec Centre, Victoria University Kelburn Campus. Next Mondays to be discussed. Check the Wellington Buddhist Meditation Centre home page for more information.

3. RafaƂ Olech New Zealand tour (28 Dec - 4 Jan)
As in previous years, we have invited travelling teacher to NZ for the New Year Course. This time it will be Rafal Olech from Poland. Here is the more detailed schedule:
28 Dec - 1 Jan: New Year Meditation Course in Kaikoura - includes Jet Ski, fireworks and of course meditation :) You need to register before coming.
2 Jan: lecture in Golden Bay (still in planning)
4 Jan: "Buddhism - the freedom of mind", lecture in Wellington, Monday 8pm

4. Meditation Course in Auckland (15 - 17 Jan)
Auckland sangha invites you to public lectures, teachings and meditation practices with traveling teacher Artur Grzelinski. Click here for more information.

5. Phowa Course in Hong Kong (24 - 28 Feb)
Hong Kong sangha will host Lama Ole for Phowa course. More information is available here.

6. Early notification of Lama Ole's course in Christchurch (13 - 14 Mar)
This year Lama Ole will arrive later than usual. The course will take place in the Christchurch Diamond Way Buddhist Centre. We will notify you when the booking process starts.

7. Meditation Pillows
Wellington sangha is arranging the shipping of meditation pillows, perfect for those who like to meditate often. The price is $70 per pillow. Enquire by e-mail at Wellington Diamond Way Buddhist Centre. Limited amount available.

8. ITAS: new intake
For those who are interested in attending Tibetan language courses, there is a new intake at ITAS (Karma Guen, Spain) for the year 2010.

9. New issue of 111.111 pdf magazine
3rd issue of the 111.111 magazine "His Holiness 17th Karmapa Trinlay Thaye Dorje in Russia" is out. Download it for quick fix of inspiration. This magazine is almost only photos... but what great photos they are! Get it
